So I am making the leap. A place in Los Angeles where I can have some of my own things around me, a nest, a respite from the traffic and work, a break from hotel living with my worn, seasoned suitcases. Its a great 1920's building located in Silverlake, an artist enclave with plenty of places to eat, shop, and live. The past few months, my shoots have been in or near LA so it just made sense. I am keeping my house in Seattle which will remain my home base. I have to say I am very excited about it, its reasonably close to the beach and the airport. I have a network of friends and colleagues in the neighborhood and most importantly, my only sibling recently gave birth to my first nephew and I am ready to play the doting uncle. My heart is singing.
