Here are some outtakes from my shoot with photographer Kevin McCarty and AD Rose Cefalu of Satellite Magazine. Our shoot was loosely inspired by the seminal 90's movies, The Lost Boys and My Own Private Idaho. Loved both those movies so I was excited to get started on the wardrobe story. But how do you marry the concepts of vampires(kind of a tired subject lately anyway) and male hustlers? Not too literally, clearly! It was an overcast day at the Santa Monica Pier the day of our shoot, perfect for the kind of light we were looking for. Much thanks goes out to our handsome crew, and my go-to assistant/Girl Friday, Neeyaz for holding down the wardrobe fort.
